How We Design and Make Your Engagement Ring
Step 1: The Design
Your ring starts with a conversation, not a catalogue. Andrew sketches concepts based on your vision, working your chosen metal and gemstone into the design from the start. You see your ring take shape before any metal gets cut.
Step 2: Choosing Materials
Once you approve the design, Andrew sources the metal and gemstones. Every material is ethically sourced. Our suppliers follow fair labour and environmental standards, so your ring carries a story you can stand behind.
Step 3: Metalwork and Setting
Skilled craftsmen join Andrew in the workshop, where raw metal becomes your ring. Metalwork involves precise cutting, shaping, and welding. Gem setting demands the same precision, since one wrong move can chip a stone or loosen a setting.
Step 4: Finishing and Polishing
This is where your ring gets its shine. Andrew and his team finish and polish every surface by hand, so the piece catches light the way it should.
Step 5: Quality Assurance
Andrew checks every ring personally before it reaches you. No ring leaves the studio until it meets his standard.
Engagement Ring Settings We Offer
Solitaire
A single diamond set on a gold or platinum band. Simple, timeless, and built to show off the stone. Our Solitaire Plus adds a hidden halo underneath for extra sparkle. Solitaire settings work with round, oval, princess, pear, emerald, marquise, and Asscher cut diamonds.
Side Stone and Pavé
Diamonds set along the band for extra sparkle. Options include pavé, channel set, and feature side stones, usually wrapping half to three quarters of the band. This setting suits most diamond shapes and sizes.
Halo
Small diamonds circle the center stone, adding brilliance and visual size. We offer single and double halo designs. Halo settings look especially strong with cushion, emerald, oval, and Asscher cut diamonds.
Trilogy
Three diamonds representing your past, present, and future. The center stone is usually larger, flanked by two smaller diamonds. You can choose matching or contrasting shapes for the three stones.
